The Faculty of Science Master’s programmes Logic and System and Network Engineering (SNE) have been designated as ‘Top Programme’ by the Universities Study Guide 2017.
The Guide’s evaluation is for 80% based on students’ feedback and for 20% on reports by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders. A maximum of 100 points are awarded to each programme. Logic scored 84 points and SNE scored 94 points.
The Master’s programmes Logic and SNE are allowed to use the ‘Top Programme’ designation in their information and recruitment materials. For SNE, this is the third year in a row they have achieved this honour, and they are the highest rated programme at the University of Amsterdam.
The Top 20 is composed of Master’s programmes of universities and universities of applied sciences (HBO) that were rated best by students and experts. The data were generated from the National Student Survey (NSE) and the accreditation decisions of the Dutch accreditation organisation NVAO. The Universities Study Guide 2017 rated all officially registered Master’s programmes.
