Non-UvA scholarships

A variety of non-UvA scholarships are available to prospective Master's students who would like to pursue a Science programme.

ASML Scholarship

In short:

  • For students who have (nearly) completed the Bachelor of Science programme at one of ASML's partner universities and who are planning to pursue a MSc degree at a partner university.
  • The scholarship will provide financial support of 5,000 Euro per year for the entire Master's degree two-year period.
  • Deadline: 13 April 2018 (application for 2019 is not open yet)

 

Women Techmakers Scholars Program

In short:

  • Scholarship for female Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD students studying Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
  • Deadline for applications: The Women Techmakers Scholars Program application is closed and will open again in fall 2018.
  • Recipients will receive a €7,000 EUR Scholarship and have the opportunity to attend a networking retreat in the summer.

Google Europe Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

In short:

  • Scholarship for Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD students with a disability studying Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
  • Deadline for applications: 6 December 2018
  • Recipients will receive a €7,000 EUR Scholarship

The Russell E. Train Education for Nature Programmes

The Russel E. Train Education for Nature Program (EFN) is founded by the World Wildlife Fund and offers a number of scholarships, fellowships and short-term training grants for students at the undergraduate, graduate and professional level.
