Name: Sara Larsson
Prior education: Bachelor degree in Media Technology (game programming)
'I've always been interested in games and now I have started to focus on developing them. After my bachelor degree in game programming I felt that I wanted to continue with studying on a higher level to get more knowledge, and other views of gaming and games. When I found this program I felt that it was a very interesting opportunity, since it is not only focusing on gaming for ‘fun’. And also such an amazing adventure to leave Sweden and study in Amsterdam!'
'A risk while coming here was that it is the first year this program is given, which is also noticeable. But overall they have made a good job, with interesting and varying subjects and lecturers. And I don’t doubt that it will be improved a lot to next year.'
'The thing I like most about the program is that my classmates have such varying backgrounds. From history, economy, psychology, and gaming, this always makes the discussions interesting with a lot of different views. Though sometimes it can be a bit too theoretical, but at least I know that the spring will be much more practical which I look forward to.'
